Marc Voci, founder of Style Me Hired, along with The Career Wardrobe and the Omni Hotel are launching Philadelphia’s first and only makeover event providing 100 unemployed women complete transformations to re-enter the workforce. On September 26, 2011, 25 salons across the region will provide the makeovers, which will change hundreds of lives.

We need volunteers to assist with a range of activities.

Registration / 10:00am - 3:00pm / 3 Volunteers Needed
For registration we need volunteers to assist with setup and take the 'before' photos of participants. Registration volunteers will greet participants as they arrive for their makeover and make sure they receive their questionnaire, program and name badge. Volunteers will wear name badges or t-shirts provided to them.

Makeover Area / 10:00am - 2:00pm / 3 Volunteers Needed
In the makeover area volunteers will act as hostesses to groups of 25 participants each hour, guiding participants to the correct locations and assisting salons as needed.

Makeup Assistance / 10:00am - 2:00pm / 3 Volunteers Needed
Volunteers assisting with makeup are asked to provide makeup services for 10-12 women. Please note, this opportunity requires volunteers to provide their own make-up and remain the entire length of the program (10am - 2pm) for touch-ups if needed.

Wardrobe Area / 10:00am - 3:00pm / 3 Volunteers Needed
Wardrobe area volunteers are responsible for assisting participants with dressing and taking the 'after' photos when they have changed into outfits.

Reveal Reception / 3:00pm - 5:00pm / 4 Volunteers Needed
Volunteers will assist with setup, and help line up participants to make sure they are ready for the fashion show.

Job Search Help Center / 11:00am - 3:00pm / 3 Volunteers Per Hour
Volunteers at the Job Search Help Center will help participants by reviewing resumes, conducting mock interviews, answering job search questions, and providing networking tips. Volunteers must have a background in human resources or have hiring experience before signing up.
